MEET MARIA - THE HEART BEHIND THE BRAND

Hello! My name is Maria and I am the founder of Geranium Boutique.

If you have found your way here, chances are we already have something in common: a love for jewellery that does more than complete an outfit. I believe the right piece has the power to make you stand a little taller, feel a little stronger, and remind you of who you are.

Born and raised in Italy in 1994, my journey has taken me across Europe. I spent nearly eleven years in Scotland, one year in France, and I now proudly call Switzerland home. Living in different countries has shaped who I am today. Every place has left its mark on me, and I like to think of myself as a true citizen of the world, bringing together different cultures, styles, and perspectives into everything I create.

Geranium Boutique was born in the summer of 2025, during a time when I felt ready for a new chapter. I wanted to build something that reflected my values, my creativity and my belief that beautiful jewellery should be made to last without costing a fortune. That dream became Geranium Boutique: a collection of stainless steel, 18k gold-plated and 925 sterling silver jewellery designed for everyday confidence.

WHY "GERANIUM"?

The name is deeply personal.

It takes me back to my childhood and to my mother, who always filled our home with beautiful geraniums. Even today, the scent of those flowers instantly brings back memories of her love, strength, and warmth.

She is the woman who taught me to be independent, confident, and resilient. The values she passed on have shaped not only the person I have become but also the brand I have created.

My mother and I have shared a lifelong passion for jewellery. Ever since I can remember, we have admired every style, every colour, and every sparkle. I can still remember being a little girl, opening her jewellery box and carefully going through her collection. I would try on her necklaces, rings, and bracelets, and for those few moments I felt like a princess. Those memories remain some of my most cherished.

Over the years, jewellery became our love language, gifting each other meaningful pieces, swapping jewellery between us and celebrating life's special moments with something beautiful to wear. Those little traditions inspired the passion that eventually became Geranium Boutique.

For me, the geranium represents much more than a flower. It symbolises feminine strength, resilience and quiet beauty. It blooms through changing seasons and continues to thrive, reminding us that true strength often grows silently, long before the world notices.

OUR MISSION

I know what it feels like to struggle with confidence.

I also know that sometimes, something as simple as putting on your favourite necklace or pair of earrings can completely change how you feel. Jewellery cannot change who you are, but it can remind you of the confidence, beauty and strength that have always been within you.

That is why I created Geranium Boutique.
